Kindness is contagious
The online school actively supports youth charitable initiatives aimed at understanding and enhancing a sense of caring and solidarity with others.
We will always keep you informed about the charitable initiatives undertaken by the school students to create an environment that makes all school students want to be an “immigrant philanthropist” for their homeland.
“Kindness is contagious!” – we have heard these words from Tika Svanidze Vancko, President of the Foundation and Founder of the Online School, more than once and as time goes by we become more convinced of the importance of sharing contagious, good emotions for each other.
Tika Svanidze Vancko will tell herself what charity means to her and what emotions it evokes:
“I am extremely happy with the emotion received from helping others, which evokes perfection inside me, and in those moments I get even closer to God, who strengthens me even more spiritually.
My joy knows no bounds when I see that all three of my sons from a young age reflected a longing for goodness and love for the Lord. The result of this is that from the young age George, Levan and Temur rejoice in the desire to sow goodness and solve problems.
It was our eldest son, Giorgi Vancko, who at the age of 12, was determined to help Georgia, visited the Brotsliani House of Virtues in the Sighnaghi district. After meeting their needs, Giorgi established the charity fund “Let’s Help Georgia” and raised 40,000 thousand euros with the help of the school and the foundation.
At the age of 14, George was awarded the status of the youngest philanthropist.
George’s kindness was soon reflected onto his younger brothers Levan and Temur, and at the age of 10 and 11 they also began to help other shelters and nursing homes in the Sighnaghi district.
In February 2021, Levan installed solar heaters on the Tsnori nursing home. The happy mayor of Sighnaghi, Mr. Gogi Gogilashvili, told me, “Tika, you should have at least seven children, instead of only 3, and all the nursing homes in Sighnaghi district should breathe with the help of your children.” Hearing this made my eyes shine and I remembered that I have many amazing, noble and homeland-loving children who are scattered like pearls around the world and are united by our first “Georgian Diaspora International Online School” and the love of the homeland.
So let us do good for our homeland together! The power lies in unity and love of homeland! “
It should be noted that 5% of the proceeds from the sale of items placed in the online school’s “Online Store” will be delegated for charity.
